Community Hall
This beautiful and cozy community centre was built by Mt. Lorne residents as a means of coming together and celebrate together. Featuring an open-concept gathering hall with immediate access to our commercial kitchen, washrooms and outdoor amenities. This is a great place to have celebrations, weddings, and any event you can envision.
Ice Rink & Warm-up Shed
A regulation-size hockey rink with pro-lighting for those dark winter days, ideal for recreational and pro leagues to enjoy. Feauring our cozy warmup shed and recreation building with a wood-burning stove, baseboard heated breakout rooms, games, and skates available for use. Only thing missing is you!
Skatepark
One of only a handful of skatebowls in the Yukon, its a great place to practice your sweet skateboard moves and train to become the next skateboard pro! This is a summer facility, not operating in the winter.
Multi-Use Court
Enjoy one of only a few regulation size tennis courts in the Yukon, and recreational basketball court ready to be explored. In the winter, the space takes on a new life, with different winter activities. This is an ideal place for gatherings and to teach your classes!
Open-air Pavilion
This stunning gazeebo-styled open-air pavilion showcases ample capacity, solar power (with grid access), a stage, and great open air acoustics amplified by the enchanting echoes of the Mt. Lorne valley. Ideal for weddings, large events, or simply have a nice picnic with loved ones while taking in the breathtaking scenery that Mt. Lorne offers.
Shower Facilities
We offer shower facilities to all members to enjoy. These coin-operated showers are cleaned regularly, and use locally-sourced water. Ideal for campers, residents in dry cabins, or a nice way to wind-down after a long rewarding day in nature.
9-hole Disc Golf Corse
A Yukon favourite pastime! - Come enjoy our disc golf course, intertwined with the stunning trails that make up the surrounding area of the Mt. Lorne community centre. With natural obstacles, and great scenery. No better way to relax!
Ski Trails
With over 15km of marked and groomed classic ski trails, our facility is ideal for families and athletes alike. From classic skiing to competitive skiing, surrounded by stunning natural beauty... If you are lucky, you may encounter some of our local wildlife that make their homes in the beautiful Mt. Lorne valley. Bring your headlamps, enjoy a moonlight ski, and have a day you'll remember for a long time!
Agnes Seitz Community Garden
Nothing brings Mt. Lorne together like a good garden, with organic produce, and a loving community to take care of it. We are very happy to share our community garden with visitors and members alike. Take a stroll through the garden in the summer and add your mark to this community inclusion project.
Annie Lake Wilderness Golf Course
We are lucky to have at our facility a MASSIVE, 18-hole wilderness golf course available to our members and day users. Golf while surrounded by spectacular vistas, nature, and the advantages of playing in this hidden gem in the southern lakes region.
